Hello. I am new to this forum as well as to the Requirements Engineering arena. I am hoping to find some help here. We are using Caliber as a RM tool, based on a executive decision somebody way up made. Recently, we have been venturing into the "Requirements Definition" world. In particular we are searching for a product that will help us create rapid prototypes with work flows, and want to invest wisely on a product that be achieve the following: 1. Ease of use for an average user - business analysts that are not tech savvy, 2. Good integration into Caliber and QC - Mercury 3. Short learning curve, 3. Scalable product compatible with Rich Interenet functionality for prototypes. 4. Cost efficient. Though products like iRise provide this functionality, they focus more on the "Requirements gathering" functionality than the prototyping (is my belief, I could be wrong).
Any advice?
Thanks in advance.:) Venkat
You might look at http://www.irise.com/. They seem to have a unique prototyping tool for creating web app mockups. I've talked to a few users who seem to like their application. Not sure on the cost though.

Also check out Axure RP Pro 4 (http://www.axure.com/). Not tried it, but looks quite interesting.

If you are interested in iRise, I'd recommend emailing my collegue who works for them, John Hsieh. His email is jhsieh@irise.com. He'd be happy to give you more information or set up a demo.
Thanks.
Our tool is a GUI Storyboarding tool (based on MS Visio) that integrates with Borland CaliberRM - stpBA Storyboarding (http://www.stpsoft.co.uk/story)
